There was a farmer named John. He had a beautiful farm, but he was never satisfied with what he had. He always thought that the other farms in the village were better. He was envious of his neighbors larger fields, better crops and bigger livestock. One day, John decided to visit his neighbor's farm. He saw the vast fields of wheat and corn, and the cows grazing in the meadow. John was impressed by everything he saw. He wished he had a farm like that. But, as he was returning home, John saw an another field that was even greener than his neighbor's. He couldn't resist and went to check it out. He realized that it belonged to a wealthy businessman who had hired many people to maintain the fields. John returned home feeling dejected. John learned a lesson. The lesson was about comparing himself to others. He realized that he had failed to appreciate what he had. He understood that he needed to be content with what he had. He acknowledged that the grass is always greener on the other side.
