Later in the day, Tom started to feel sick. He went to the doctor. He was diagnosed with food poisoning. He realized something important. His haste in making the sandwich had caused him to ignore important details. One of those details was checking the expiry dates of the food. This realization was crucial. He learned that haste makes waste. Therefore, he acknowledged the importance of taking the time to do things correctly.
