Lisa had been working as a receptionist at a law firm for over 20 years. She had become comfortable with her routine and felt like she knew everything about the job. But one day, her boss informed her that the firm was implementing a new computer system, and all employees would have to learn how to use it. Lisa felt anxious and overwhelmed. She had never been good with technology and was afraid she wouldn't be able to keep up with the new system. She thought to herself, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks". However, Lisa's boss encouraged her to attend training sessions and assured her that she would receive support and help. Lisa reluctantly agreed and started to learn the new system. To her surprise, Lisa found that she was able to pick it up quickly with the help of her colleagues. She realized that the proverb was not entirely true. Even though she was older, she could still learn new things. Lisa felt proud of herself for stepping out of her comfort zone and overcoming her fear of technology.
