A man named Mathew lived in a small town. He had a very bad reputation among the community for being dishonest, greedy and selfish. Despite people's efforts to help him change his ways, Mathew refused to listen and continued to behave badly. People tried a lot and all their efforts went down the drain. One day, Mathew was caught stealing from his neighbor's house. Due to his repeated misbehavior, the community decided to banish him from the community. Mathew begged for forgiveness and promised to change his behaviour, but no one believed him. After he exiled from the town, he realized his mistakes and amend his ways. After a few years, Mathew returned back to the town. He promised himself to start a new life. He claimed to have changed and was willing to make amends for his past mistakes. However, the people were skeptical and refused to accept him back into the community. Mathew learned the hard way that his past behavior had permanently tarnished his reputation. He couldn't change people's perception of him, no matter how much he tried. The proverb "a leopard can't change its spots" proved to be true, as Mathew's past behavior continued to haunt him, even when he genuinely changed.
